2 oz Vodka in highball glass with ice

Fill with orange juice

Bloody Mary



2 oz Vodka

3 oz heavy tomato juice

1/2 oz fresh lemon juice

4 drops Worcestershire Sauce

Dash salt

Dash pepper

Shake well with cracked ice,

Strain and serve in highball glass.

Cranberry Liqueur



2 cups sugar

1 cup water

1 (12oz) pkg fresh cranberries

3 cups vodka



Combine sugar and water in a medium saucepan, cook over medium heat 5 minutes or until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, and cool completely



Place cranberries in a food processor. Process 2 minutes or until finely chopped

Combine sugar mixture and cranberries in a large bowl, stir in vodka



Pour the vodka mixture into clean jars, secure with lids

Let stand 3 weeks in a cool, dark place, shaking every other day



Strain the cranberry mixture through a cheesecloth-lined sieve into a bowl, and discard solids

Carefully pour liqueur into clean bottles or jars



Yield 4 1/2 cups

Serving size 1/4 cup



Liqueur can be stored refrigerated or at room temperature for up to a year.

Coffee Vodka Cooler



1/2 cup water

1/4 cup vodka

2 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp instant coffee

12 ice cubes

Cinnamon



In blender contianer, combine water, vodka, sugar and instant coffee.

Process at low speed 10 seconds.

Add ice cubes (one at a time) and process at high speed until mixture is slushy

Pour into glasses.

Sprinkle top with cinnamon

Makes 7 - 4oz servings

Raspberry Vodka




1 cup vodka

1/2 cup fresh raspberries

1/8 cup dried cherries

1/8 cup lemon peel

1 tsp Eau de Framboise



In a jar combine ingredients

Tightly cover jar and store in a cool place for 4 days

Stain the vodka into a clean jar, cover, and keep in the refrigerator

Yield 1 cup

Wassail Bowl




Whole Cloves

6 oranges

1 gallon apple cider

1-1/2 cups lemon juice

10 (2 inch) cinnamon sticks

2 cups vodka

1/4 cup brandy



Preheat oven to 350F

Insert cloves, 1/4 inch apart, in oranges, Bake, uncovered, in shallow pan, 30 minutes



Meanwhile, heat cider in large kettle until bubbles form around edge

Remove from heat

Add lemon juice, cinnamon sticks, and oranges

Heat, covered, over very low heat, 30 minutes

Add vodka, and brandy, mixing well, pour into punch bowl

Add the Oranges, they will float on top

Serve Warm

Makes 36 (4oz) servings
