Chocolate Pie Shell


1/3 c shortening

1 c sifted flour

1/4 tsp salt

1 Hershey’s special dark bar (1.05 ounces), grated

3 to 4 tbsp water



Cut the shortening into flour and salt in a bowl

Stir in semi-sweet chocolate and then sprinkle water over

Mix lightly, just until dough holds together

Roll out and line a 9 inch pie plate, flute edges

Bake in a hot oven 450F for 12 minutes
