| Cardinal Cup 2 cans (10-1/2 oz each) condensed tomato soup, undiluted2 cans (10-1/2 oz each) condensed beef bouillon, undiluted1/3 cup thinly sliced onion4 whole black peppers1/2 tsp salt1 tbsp lemon juice1/4 tsp nutmeg1/2 cup sherry1 tbsp chopped parsley In 3-1/2 quart saucepan, combine all ingredients except sherry and parsley Stir in 1 cup water, mixing well, bring to boilingReduce heat, and simmer, covered, 30 minutes Strain discard onion and peppers Return to saucepan along with sherry heat, stirringPour into mugsServe topped with parsleyMakes 6 servings | |
