Cookie Cutter Ornaments

You can use scraps of leftover material in this easy craft idea.

Use cutters with the simplest lines- the Christmas tree, the star, the angel, the snowman.

Place the cutter on a piece of plain paper and draw around edge. Then cut out, 1/4 inch larger all around.

Using the paper pattern, cut out pairs of angels, trees, stars and snowmen from cotton fabric (small prints, calico or gingham are the most attractive)

Place two pieces right sides together and stitch 1/4 inch all around, leaving 1 1/2 inch opening.
Carefully clip curves.
Turn to right side.
insert filling
and handstitch the opening
Sew on a contrasting loop of ribbon
