SuperMarket Bananas

are at different stages of ripeness



For Frying or flambeing, choose green tipped-bananas

They are just barely ripe and are perfect for cooking



Bananas that are solid yellow are ripened and they are best eaten raw or for baking



Flecked bananas are perfect for eating since they have developed their full flavor



If mashing or cutting for fruit salads sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent darking
