| Crescent-Wrapped Gouda 1 (7oz) round natural Gouda cheese1 (8oz) can Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls1 egg, beatenHeat oven to 350FCut cheese round in half crosswise to form 2 circles, remove waxSeparate dough into 4 rectangles, firmly press perforations to sealPlace one rectangle on top of a second, repeat with remaining Rectangles making two double-thick rectanglesPress each into a 6 inch square, place cheese circle in center of eachPull corners of dough to top center of cheese, Press dough tightlyAgainst cheeseTwist dough in center to seal, twisting off excess doughPress seams to sealRepeat to make second Gouda wrapPress out excess doughWith canapé cutter or paring knife, cut out decorative shapes, Place on top of each gouda wrapBrush with beaten eggPlace 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheetBake at 350 F for 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown, Cool 10 minutes before serving8 servings | |
