| Candy bar Pie 6 1 to 1.5oz bars milk chocolate with almonds, chopped15 large marshmallows or 1-1/2 cups tiny marshmallows1/2 cup milk1 cup whipping cream1/2 tsp vanilla1 Walnut pie crustWhipped cream (optional)Coarsely chopped milk chocolate bars with almonds (optional) For filling, in a medium saucepanCombine the 6 candy bars, marshmallows, and milk, heat and stir over medium-low heat till chocolate is meltedRemove from heat, cool to room temperatureChill a large mixing bowl and beaters In the chilled bowl beat whipping cream and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium speed till soft peaks form (tips curl) Fold whipped cream into cooled chocolate mixtureSpoon chocolate mixture into Pie CrustFreeze about 5 hours or till firmRemove from the freezer about 10 minutes before servingIf desired, garnish with additional whipped cream and chopped chocolateMakes 8 servings Walnut CrustIn a medium mixing bowl combine 1-1/2 cups coarsely ground walnuts (6oz), 3 tbsp melted margarine or butter, and 2 tbsps sugarPress nut mixture firmly onto bottom and up sides of a 9 inch pie plateBake in a 325 oven for about 10 minutes or till edge is goldenCool on a wire rackTo make ahead: Make and freeze the pie up to 2 months before serving | |
