Milk Chocolate Bavarian Crème
¼ cup sugar
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
¼ tsp salt
1 ¾ cups milk
2 cups (11 ½ oz package) Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Chips
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 cup whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla
Blend sugar, gelatin and salt in saucepan
Stir in milk and chips, place over medium heat
Cook, stirring constantly until gelatin and chips are melted and mixture is well blended
Remove from heat; gradually beat a small amount of mixture into the egg yolks
Return to saucepan, place on heat and continue stirring for two minutes
Do not Boil
Remove from heat pour into bowl and press plastic wrap onto mixture
Cool
Chill until partially set
Whip Cream with vanilla until stiff
Fold whipped cream into the chilled chocolate mixture
Spoon into oiled 5 cup mold or equivalent individual molds
Chill several hours or overnight
Unmold and garnish as desired
