Grape Juice Ice

Grape Juice Ice

1/4 cup sugar

1/3 cup water

1/4 cup white corn syrup

2 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 cup cold water

3/4 cup grape juice

2 tbsp. gelatin soaked in

1/2 cup cold water

Put sugar, water and corn syrup in saucepan, cook 2 minutes, then take from fire

Dissolve soaked gelatin over hot water,

Then add lemon and grape juice and syrup mixture

Pour into inset pan, and when partially frozen, turn into a large mixing bowl and beat vigorously with egg beater

Return to pan, and place in freezer

In 2 to 2-1/2 hours beat mixture, then return to pan and leave until time to serve
