Cream of Peanut Soup




1 can (13-3/4 oz) clear chicken broth

About 2-1/4 cups milk

2 tbsp butter or margarine

1 tbsp flour

1 tsp salt

1 cup creamy style peanut butter



In 1 quart measure, combine chicken broth with enough milk to measure 1 quart



Heat in medium saucepan until film forms on surface

Remove from heat



Slowly heat butter in large saucepan, remove from heat

Stir in flour, salt, and peanut butter



Gradually stir in hot chicken broth mixture until smooth



Stir, over medium heat, until mixture begins to boil and is thickened

Serve hot, in mugs

Makes 6 servings
