| Cream of Peanut Soup 1 can (13-3/4 oz) clear chicken brothAbout 2-1/4 cups milk2 tbsp butter or margarine1 tbsp flour1 tsp salt1 cup creamy style peanut butter In 1 quart measure, combine chicken broth with enough milk to measure 1 quart Heat in medium saucepan until film forms on surface Remove from heat Slowly heat butter in large saucepan, remove from heatStir in flour, salt, and peanut butter Gradually stir in hot chicken broth mixture until smooth Stir, over medium heat, until mixture begins to boil and is thickenedServe hot, in mugsMakes 6 servings | |
