Creamsicle in a Glass

1 cup orange juice

1/2 cup apple juice

1 teaspoon honey

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk

2 ice cubes

Mix all ingredients in a blender on high until ice is liquefied.

Serve immediately

Eastertide Fruit Punch

1 stick cinnamon combined with 2 cups water

2 cups or more granulated sugar, and 1/4 tsp whole cloves, cooked together about 5 minutes after simmering begins, strained and cooled

1 pint bottled grape juice (or 1 can frozen grape juice combined with 1-1/2 cups water)

2 cans frozen lemon juice combined with 4 cups water

1 quart ginger ale

Just before serving, combine all ingredients in a punch bowl.

Add ice cubes, garnish top with thin lemon wedges and a few sprigs of fresh mint leaves

Garnish platter with lemon or galax leaves and with bunches of various grapes available, or with colorful small fresh fruits, or leave plain

punch makes 30 cups

Lime Punch

1 can frozen lime juice

1 can frozen lemonade

4 cans water

2 cups lime ice

2 cups ginger ale

About 15 ice cubes

Combine all ingredients, and beat well

Add ice cubes just before serving

Serve in a punch bowl, or in tall attractive glasses

Garnish edge of each glass with fresh mint or lemon leaves and a red cherry on stem

Frozen Lemon Cream

1 (15oz) can sweetened condensed milk

1/3 cup lemon juice (juice of 2 lemons)

1 cup whipping cream, whipped

Fold condensed milk and lemon juice into whipped cream

Pour into refrigerator tray or loaf pan

Cover with waxed paper

Freeze until firm, several hours

Makes 4 servings

Rose-Geranium Lemonade

4 small sprigs and 4 large leaves Rose Geranium

2 tsp sugar

4 maraschino cherries

4 tsp maraschino cherry juice

1 can (6oz) frozen lemonade concentrate

Ice cubes

In each of 4 (12oz) glasses, using back of wooden spoon, crush 1 rose geranium sprig with 1/2 tsp sugar

Then add 1 cherry and 1 tsp cherry juice to each glass

Make lemonade as label directs

Pour over ice in glasses, stirring to mix well

Garnish each with rose-geranium leaf

Makes 4 servings

MochaCola

1 pint soft coffee ice cream

1 cup chocolate milk or chocolate drink

1 bottle (6-1/2oz) cola beverage, chilled

In electric blender, combine ice cream and chocolate milk

Blend, at high speed, covered, 1 minute, or until thick and smooth

Turn into pitcher, stir in cola beverage

Serve at once

Makes about 1 Quart

Twinkle Soda

1 bottle (6-1/2 oz) cola beverage, chilled

3 bottles (7oz size) black cherry soda, chilled

2 bottles (7oz size) cream soda, chilled

1 pint soft vanilla ice cream, cut into small pieces

6 to 8 maraschino cherries, drained

Combine all ingredients, except cherries, in large bowl or pitcher, stir until well mixed

Serve at once in 6 to 8 tall glasses,

each garnished with a cherry on the end of a straw

Makes 6 to 8 servings

Banana Split Float

2 ripe medium size bananas

3 cups cold milk

1 pkg frozen, sliced sweetened Strawberries thawed

1-1/2 pints Chocolate ice cream softened

In a mixer or blender, mash bananas, Cold Milk, Strawberries and 1/2 pint Ice Cream, beat well, Until blended

Pour into a tall glass, chilled, and top with a scoop of Ice Cream.
