| PipeCleaner Angel Dolls Pipe cleaners make interesting dolls. Any size can be made using different pipe cleaner lengths.Dolls can be dressed in any fashion this method uses felt. But you could crochet, or bead or feather your angel, its all up to your imagination, I just gave you a place to start. Bend a 12 inch pipe cleaner in half.Insert folded center into a 3/4 inch doll head (can be purchased in variety stores of hobby shops)Bend back and twist lower ends for feet. Twist an 8 inch pipe cleaner length around body, 1/4 inch below head to form arms.Measure about 1 inch from end, bend back and twist to form hands. Wind wool or rug yarn around pipe cleaner skeleton, starting at body below arms.Keep yarn tight and wind at a slant.Tie yarn securely. If rug yarn is used, wind once, wind twice for wool yarn. Enlarge patterns for skirt, sleeves and wings.Use white felt for skirt and sleeves, mint green for wings.Stitch 3 rows gold rickrack or other metallic trim to skirt and sleevesBeginning at wide edge, whipstitch sleeve seams to within 1/2 inch of topTack to body.Add a piece of gold lace or ribbon to top of body crossing at waist. Apply glue to dolls head.Wind yellow yarn around head for hairTack with gold pins and sequinsUse brass curtain ring for haloGlue wing sections togetherAdd a sequin to each wing tip.
