Hand Painted Glass Ornaments
YOU'LL NEED:

clear glass ornaments
small bucket
3 colors of decorative spray paint
stirring stick
dowels cut into several 6 inch lengths, one half inch in diameter
clear acrylic spray

HERES HOW:

Work in a well ventilated area.
Cover all work surfaces with newspaper

Fill bucket with water to within 2" of the rim

Holding paint can 8 inches from water, spray each color onto water at a 35 degree angle for 4 to 5 seconds.

Overlapping the colors

Tape a ball ornament at its neck to the dowel.

Immerse ball slowly throught the paint, rotating it rather than dunking it into the water.

Watch paint form a skin on top of water.

Pushing skin away from ball with stick, remove the ball.

prop dowel up so ball can dry 20 minutes

Clean paint away from water by collecting it on stirring stick and wiping it on a rag.

Repeat process for each ball

When ornaments are dry, spray with clear acrylic spray.
