The fruit is rich in Vitamin C
Passion Fruit
Native to South America, passion fruit has a leathery skin, dark purple in color when ripe
The juicy pulp is yellow with an abundance of small black seeds
The fruit may be eaten raw
Its juice is extracted and used in a variety of desserts or fruit salads
The fruit is perishable and must be refrigerated
