If you run short of candle holders, try this Cut the stem end out of red and green peppers. fill most of the way with dried beans, which will hold the candles nice and staight. affix to the table with florists clay.

Or you can do the same with small pumpkins.

TIP:
When baking decorative cookies, stick a navy bean through the top of each one. when you remove the bean after baking. You'll have a hole to string yarn through to hang the cookie on the tree.
