Pepperoni Bread




1 (16oz) pkg hot roll mix

2 tbsp oil

2 tsp oregano

1-1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 egg, lightly beaten

7 oz. sliced pepperoni

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese



Preheat oven to 375 degrees



Prepare hot roll mix according to package directions

Place dough in bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk



Divide dough into 2 parts

On a floured surface, roll each into a 10 inch round

Sprinkle with oregano

Combine Parmesan cheese and egg in medium size bowl.

Spread half of cheese mixture over each round of dough

Top each with slices of pepperoni and sprinkle with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses

Roll each round into a cylinder and turn under the ends

Place seam side down on ungreased baking sheet

Bake until light brown, about 30 minutes

Let bread cool and cut each roll into 10 to 15 slices

Makes 20 to 30 slices
