Sour Cream Corn Bread




1 cup self rising corn meal

2 tbsp self rising flour

1 (15oz) can cream style corn

1 cup sour cream

1/4 cup corn oil

2 eggs



Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Grease an 8x8 inch pan

Mix corn meal and flour

Add corn, sour cream, corn oil and eggs, mix thoroughly

Pour into prepared pan

Bake 25 to 35 minutes

Cut into squares to serve

Delicious with butter or covered with creamed chicken roast beef and gravy or sliced turkey and gravy

Makes 9 servings
