Chocolate Syrup Brownies

1 egg

1 cup brown sugar, packed

3/4 c Hershey’s chocolate flavored syrup

1-1/2 c flour

1/4 tsp baking soda

Dash of salt

1/2 c butter, melted

3/4 c chopped pecans or walnuts

Beat the egg, and add the sugar and chocolate syrup

Sift the flour, baking soda and salt together, and add to the sugar mixture

Then fold in the butter and the nutmeats

Spread in well greased shallow baking tin

And bake 350 for 35 to 40 minutes

Cut while warm into small squares
