Ragged Robins

These are dainty cookies

2 eggs

1/2 c sugar

1 tsp vanilla

1 c chopped walnuts

1 c chopped dates

2 c corn flakes

1/4 c confectioners sugar

Beat eggs until lemon-colored; gradually beat in sugar and vanilla

To blend thoroughly

Stir in walnuts and dates

Fold in corn flakes

Drop by teaspoonfuls 2" apart on lightly greased baking sheet

Bake in moderate oven 350F, 12 to 15 minutes

While still warm, roll in confectioner’s sugar

Makes about 3-1/2 dozen
