Honey Wafers

1/2 c butter

1/2 c honey

2 c sifted flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground cloves

1/4 tsp ground allspice

1/4 cup crushed bran flakes

Cream together butter and honey

Sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and allspice.

Mix with bran flakes

Combine dry ingredients with honey and butter

Chill 1 hour

Or until firm enough to roll easy

Roll 1/8" thick cut with floured cookie cutter

Place on greased cookie sheet

Bake 350F for 8 to 10 minutes

Makes 3 dozen
