Casserole Cookies

2 eggs

1 cup sugar

1 cup chopped walnuts

1 cup chopped dates

1 cup flaked coconut

1 tsp vanilla

1/4 tsp almond extract

1/4 cup sugar (for coating)

Beat eggs well; gradually add 1 cup sugar, beating until mixture is light and fluffy

Stir in nuts, dates, coconut, vanilla and almond extract

Turn into ungreased 2 qt casserole

Bake in moderate oven 350 for 30 minutes

Remove from oven and while still hot, stir well with wooden spoon

Let cool, then form into 1" balls

Roll in 1/4 c sugar

Makes about 34
