Exotic Fruits-Mango's & Papaya's



Mango

The color of the mango's skin can vary from red, green or orange to a combination of all three

It resembles a peach and can weigh as much as 8 pounds

A large flat pit is found in the fruits center

The juicy and fragrant flesh is ideal for salads, baked goods and drinks

Keep ripe mangos in a cool place but do not refrigerate



Papaya

A papaya's color vaies from dark green to yellow orange and and red

It has a lot of grey to black seeds

The ripened flesh is yellow to pink with a sweet flavor

Papaya may be used in salads and served with poultry and meat

Let papaya ripen at room temperature and store it in a cool place

But not in the refrigerator
