| Cocoa Crispie Cookies 1-1/4 cups sifted all purpose flour1/2 tsp baking soda1/4 tsp salt1/2 cup soft butter or margarine1 cup sugar1 egg1 tsp vanilla extract1 cup cocoa-flavored sweetened crisp rice cereal Preheat oven to 350FLightly grease cookie sheetsSift flour with baking soda and salt, set asideIn large bowl, with wooden spoon, or mixer at medium speed, cream butter with sugar until light and fluffyBeat in egg and vanilla until smoothStir in flour mixture and cereal, mix wellDrop by teaspoonfuls2 inches apart, onto prepared cookie sheetsBake about 12 minutesRemove to wire rackCoolMakes about 4 dozen | |
