| Baked Fruit Casserole 1 can (16 oz) apricot halves, drained1 can (16 oz) pear halves, drained1 can (30 oz) whole plums, drained, halved and pitted1 can (29 oz) peach halves, drained1 can (8 oz) pineapple slices, undrained1/3 cup packed brown sugar1 tbsp butter1/2 tsp ground cinnamon1/4 tsp ground cloves In a greased 13x9x2 inch pan, starting at a 9 inch end, arrange rows of fruit in the following orderHalf of the apricots, pears and plums, all the peaches, then remaining apricots, pears and plumsDrain pineapple, reserving 1/2 cup of juiceLay pineapple over fruit in pan In a saucepan, combine the pineapple juice, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and clovesCook and stir until sugar is dissolved and butter is meltedPour over the fruitBake, uncovered at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes or until mixture is heated throughYield 12 to 16 servings | |

| Slow Cooker Pear Crunch
1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
¼ cup pineapple or apple juice
3 tbsp dried cranberries
1 ½ tsp quick cooking tapioca
¼ tsp vanilla extract
2 pears, cored and cut into halves
¼ cup granola with almonds
Combine all ingredients, except pears and granola, in slow cooker, mix well
Place pears, cut side down, over pineapple mixture
Cover and cook on low 3 ½ to 4 ½ hours
Arrange pear halves on serving plates
Spoon pineapple mixture over pear halves
Garnish with granola
Makes 4 servings

| PEAR DESSERT SQUARES
1-1/2 pounds pears, sliced 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour, divided
1/4 cup unsweetened apple juice concentrate
3/4 cup reduced-fat graham cracker crumbs (about 10 squares)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Dash ground nutmeg
3 tablespoons cold stick margarine 1/2 cup reduced-fat whipped topping
Additional ground cinnamon
In a bowl, toss the pears, 1 tablespoon flour and apple juice concentrate. Spoon into a 8-in. square baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray. In a bowl, combine the crumbs, cinnamon, nutmeg and remaining flour. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over pears. Bake at 375* for 30 minutes or until pears are tender and topping is lightly browned. Serve warm or chilled. | CARAMEL PEAR CRUMBLE
1-1/4 Cups all-purpose flour 1 cup quick-cooking oats
1 cup packed brown sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter or margarine melted 20 caramels
1 tablespoon milk 3 medium pears peeled and sliced
Whipped topping and additional cinnamon, optional
In a bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar and cinnamon. Stir in butter (mixture will be crumbly); set aside 1 cup. Press the remaining mixture into an ungreased 9-in. square baking dish. In a small saucepan over low heat, cook and stir caramels and milk until caramels are melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from the heat. Arrange pears over crust; spoon caramel mixture over pears. Sprinkle with the reserved crumb mixture. Bake at 350* for 30-35 minutes or until the pears are tender and top is golden brown. Serve warm. Garnish with whipped topping and cinnamon if desired.
