| Winter Cherry Berry Cobbler With Snow Logs 1-1/3 cups sugar1/2 cup all purpose flour1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted1/2 tsp grated orange rind1/2 tsp almond extract1 (15 oz) can pitted Bing Cherries undrained1 (14 oz) bag frozen mixed berries, thawed and undrained1 (15oz) pkg refrigerated piecrusts1 tbsp sugarVanilla Ice CreamSnow Logs Sirt. Together first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Gently stir cherries and berries into sugar mixture. Spoon fruit mixture into a lightly greased 11x7 inch baking dish Cut 1 piecrust into 1/2 wide strips, and arrannge in a lattice design over fruit mixture Sprinkle top with 1 tbsp sugar Bake 425 for 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown and center is bubbyLet stand 5 minutes. Serve with ice cream and Snow Logs Snow Logs 1 refrigerated piecrust, cut into 1/2 inch thick strips1 tbsp granulated sugar Powdered sugar Sprinkle piecrust strips with 1 tbsp granulated sugar, place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 425 for 6 to 8 minutes or until golden brown.Sprinkle warm strips evenly with sifted powdered sugar. | |
