Spicy Snaps (from Aunt Eleanor)

Spicy Snaps From Aunt Eleanor Paff

½ cup butter

1 egg

2 cups flour

2 tsp soda

1 tsp cloves

1 cup white sugar

4 tbsp dark molasses

½ tsp salt

1 tsp ginger

1 tsp cinnamon

Cream butter and sugar add egg and molasses and sifted dry ingredients

Mix well, roll into little balls and roll in sugar, place on cookie sheet, they will flatten out in oven

Bake 375 for 10 to 15 minutes
