| Chocolate Popcorn Balls 1-1/4 c granulated sugar1/2 c Hershey’s cocoa3/4 c light corn syrup2 tsp cider vinegar1/8 tsp salt2 tbsp butter1/4 c evaporated milk2 quarts popped corn Mix together the sugar, cocoa, corn syrup, vinegar and salt thoroughly in heavy saucepanAdd butter, cook slowly, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolvesBring the mixture to a boil; add evaporated milk slowly so boiling does not stopCook mixture over low fire, stirring occasionally, until it reaches 265FMix into 2 quarts freshly popped cornDip out large spoonfuls and make into balls, first wetting hands in cold water or rubbing then lightly with butterOne must work quickly | |

| Caramel Popcorn 1 pkg (14oz) Carmel (about 50) unwrapped 3 tbsp butter or margarine 12 cups air-popped popcorn 1 cup planter peanuts Preheat over 300F Place caramels, butter and 1 tbsp water in large heavy saucepan. Cook on low heat until caramels are completely melted, stirring frequently Combine Popcorn and peanuts in a large bowl. Add caramel mixture toss to evenly coat. Spread onto large greased baking sheet. Bake 10 min, stir. Bake an additional 10 minutes. Spoon onto sheet of wax paper cool completely Break apart into clusters Makes 12 servings about 1 cup each (or you can melt the caramels in the microwave) | |

| Microwave Popcorn Balls 1/4 cup butter6 cups miniature marshmallows1 pkg (4 ounce size) Jell-O Gelatin Dessert, any flavor12 cups popped popcorn1 cup peanuts (optional) Place butter and marshmallows in large microwavable bowl, Cook in microwave on High power for 1-1/2 to 2 minutes or until marshmallows are puffed Add dry gelatin dessert, stir until well blended Pour marshmallow mixture over combined popcorn and peanuts.
