| Brandy Balls 1 cans (6oz) evaporated milk, undiluted1 pkg (6oz) semisweet chocolate pieces2-1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafers (about 64)1/2 cup sifted confectioner’s sugar1-1/4 cups chopped pecans1/3 cup brandy In heavy 2 quart saucepan, combine evaporated milk and chocolate piecesCook, stirring over medium heat, until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth and thickened Remove from heatAdd crushed wafers, sugar, 1/2 cup pecans, and the brandy, mixing well Let stand at room temperature 30 minutesShape mixture into balls 1 inch in diameterRoll in remaining pecansRefrigerate 1 hour, or until firmMakes about 4 dozen | |
