Brandy Balls

1 cans (6oz) evaporated milk, undiluted
1 pkg (6oz) semisweet chocolate pieces
2-1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafers (about 64)
1/2 cup sifted confectioner’s sugar
1-1/4 cups chopped pecans
1/3 cup brandy

In heavy 2 quart saucepan, combine evaporated milk and chocolate pieces
Cook, stirring over medium heat, until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth and thickened

Remove from heat
Add crushed wafers, sugar, 1/2 cup pecans, and the brandy, mixing well

Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes
Shape mixture into balls 1 inch in diameter
Roll in remaining pecans
Refrigerate 1 hour, or until firm
Makes about 4 dozen
