| Lacy White Chocolate Stars 1 (16oz) pack vanilla bark coating, divided10 (10inch) wooden skewers Clear Food Safe Cellophane wrap Ribbon Place half the bark coating in a quart size zip top freezer bag, and sealMicrowave on medium 50% power 2 to 3 minutes, or until melted. Snip a tiny hole in 1 corner of the bag Draw or trace 10 (4 inch) stars on several sheets of wax paper. Turn paper over, and place on baking sheets. Drizzle coating in a heavy stream over outline on wax paper. Drizzle coating in a lacy design to fill in each star. Let stand 10 minutes or until slightly hardened Place half (4oz) of remaining coating in a quart size zip top freezer bag and seal Microwave at medium 50% power. 1 to 2 minutes or until melted. Snip a tiny hole in 1 corner of the bag. Drizzle hardened star with another layer of lacy design Let stand 15 minutes or until hardened Melt remaining coating in a quart size zip top freezer bag and sealMicro wave on medium 50% power for 1 to 2 minutes or until meltedSnip a tiny hole in one corner.Carefully peel hardened stars from wax paper and turn over. Pipe a dime size dot of coating onto back of each star. Gently press end of a wooden skewer into coating Continue to drizzle additional coating to cover a 2 inch portion of skewer on back of each star for stability.Let stand 15 minutes or until hardened Wrap stars in cellophane, and secure with ribbon. Stars are fragile, so do not stack.Store in airtight containers or zip top plastic bags in a cool, dry place up t o 1 month | |
